Becoming Lurcrest
A North Carolina native, Loren Barham grew up with a deep
appreciation for the beauty of the natural world, which plays a
major role in her design process still today. After relocating to the
UK with her husband Aaron, she began to experiment with metal-
smithing and developed the early stages of jewelry designs that
would later become the Lurcrest line. Invigorated by the
glamorous history of Newport, RI and the Ocean State's rich past
of jewelry-making, the couple set up shop and their headquarters
in the coastal town upon their stateside return in 2013.
Color as a Calling Card
Loren's unapologetic use of color in her designs comes from her fine art background with her studied practice and innate sense of
color theory. It's been said that when putting on our pieces, one is also putting on a better mood - a testament to the power of
jewelry and the science of color. Whether it's hand-selecting crystals in various ombré tones to pairing unique combinations of
semi-precious stones, color is a definitive quality of a Loren Hope piece.

An ode to timeless beauty, our bridal collection inspires the best
version of the wearer on their most beautiful day. These refined
and super sentimental details are intended to enhance, not

As an extension of our jewelry-making, decor is another part of
the Lurcrest lifestyle. With a decadent holiday collection of
sparkly seasonal accents, tabletop furnishings and elaborate custom
crystal mosaics, embellished homewares are always evolving. The
cult-favorite butterfly series of special edition "specimens" is still
just as popular after several years of taking flight.
